As a child, did you take stuff apart and try and put it back together? When mom's toaster broke, were you the type of kid who pulled it out of the trash and took it apart trying to learn why it was broken? If so, I might have a job for you. I'm looking for someone who has the talent to diagnose and repair things. No previous appliance experience necessary.

Our company is highly invested in technology. Applicants need to be proficient in using a tablet, smart phone and web browser.

On The Job training will be provided for appliance repair skills in our onsite workshop. Opportunity for commissioned pay in customer's homes once skills are mastered.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair major home appliances in our workshop
  • Lookup parts and schematics with laptop computer
  • Deliver and install major home appliances
  • Fill out post visit reports and invoices using a tablet

Skills

Valid driver’s license -Need to be able to drive manual transmission vehicle.

  • Fascination with understanding mechanical and electrical devices
  • Good driving record
  • High school degree
  • Ability to use lapotop and tablet computers for job tracking and parts lookup
 
Physical Demands:
 The employee must have the ability to move large home appliances like washing machines and  refrigerators using an appliance dolly.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
